{"id":1540,"date":"2025-09-29T11:27:48","date_gmt":"2025-09-29T09:27:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/desarrollo5.agenciabai.es\/2025\/09\/29\/the-high-court-of-justice-of-extremadura-tsjex-supports-caceres-2031-bid\/"},"modified":"2026-02-27T18:29:58","modified_gmt":"2026-02-27T17:29:58","slug":"the-high-court-of-justice-of-extremadura-tsjex-supports-caceres-2031-bid","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/caceres2031.org\/en\/2025\/09\/29\/the-high-court-of-justice-of-extremadura-tsjex-supports-caceres-2031-bid\/","title":{"rendered":"The High Court of Justice of Extremadura (TSJEx) joins the C\u00e1ceres 2031 candidacy"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>The bid for the title of European City of Culture continues to gain support<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The High Court of Justice of Extremadura (TSJEx) on Monday supported C\u00e1ceres&#8217; bid to be European City of Culture in 2031.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The High Court of Justice of Extremadura (TSJEx) joined on Monday the candidacy of C\u00e1ceres to become European Capital of Culture in 2031.<br>The highest judicial institution in the region thus adds its support to that of various organizations, municipalities, and entities across Extremadura that have already signed the manifesto backing the bid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe want the C\u00e1ceres 2031 candidacy to be an example of unity for the whole of society in Extremadura, and in that equation the judiciary could not be missing, alongside the executive and legislative powers, which have already endorsed the project,\u201d stated the Mayor of C\u00e1ceres and President of the C\u00e1ceres 2031 Consortium, Rafael Mateos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a meeting with the President of the TSJEx, Mar\u00eda F\u00e9lix Tena, the mayor of C\u00e1ceres expressed his gratitude for the involvement in this project, which belongs not only to the city but to the entire region: \u201cThis is a transformative project for Extremadura, and it is a source of pride to see the affection and willingness to join us in convincing Europe of our values,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The C\u00e1ceres 2031 candidacy for European Capital of Culture continues to gather support, ideas, and proposals.
