The three festivals, which are a reference in the cultural fabric of Extremadura and managed by the Extremaduran company Progevents (Producciones de Grandes Eventos SL), have signed the manifesto of the Caceres project, thus reflecting their public support for a candidacy that aims to strengthen and project culture throughout the region.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Carlos Lobo, director of the three events, highlighted the importance of supporting &#8220;a project that aspires to place culture at the center of economic, social and tourism development in Extremadura. C\u00e1ceres 2031 is not only a challenge for the city, but a collective opportunity for the region&#8221;.  <\/p>\n\n<p>The three festivals, consolidated among the most important cultural events in Extremadura, attract tens of thousands of people every year to M\u00e9rida (Stone), Badajoz (Alcazaba) and the city of C\u00e1ceres (Extrem\u00fasika) with very different musical and artistic proposals, highlighting the presence of national and international artists of the highest level. &#8220;These three events are an example of how music and culture can revitalize cities and generate a positive impact, and that is why we put all our experience at the disposal of the C\u00e1ceres 2031 candidacy,&#8221; said Lobo. &#8220;We know what it means to bet on culture as the backbone of the territory and the challenge that this entails, so our festivals will actively support the candidacy&#8221;.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Finally, Carlos Lobo hopes that the project will continue to grow and gain support so that it can have a positive impact on the region. &#8220;If Extremadura wants to continue growing and projecting itself beyond our borders, we need to support initiatives like this one, since culture is a strategic value for the present and future of our territory,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The STONE&amp;MUSIC Festival, the Alcazaba Festival and Extrem\u00fasika have joined C\u00e1ceres&#8217; candidacy to become European Capital of Culture 2031.
