- The bid and the Association of Cultural Managers are already working on possible projects
The Association of Cultural Managers of Extremadura (AGCEX) has joined Cáceres’ bid for European Capital of Culture 2031 by signing its membership manifesto.
Victoria Paniagua and Ana Aznar, representing AGCEX, formalized the membership together with Iris Jugo, general coordinator of Cáceres 2031. This support also opens a path of collaboration between both entities, which are already working on common projects linked to the bid.
AGCEX has been carrying out its activity in Extremadura since 1994 and brings together cultural management professionals from the public and private spheres. Among its objectives are the recognition of the profession, training, the generation of spaces for meeting and reflection and the promotion of culture through its own projects and in collaboration with other entities.
The incorporation of AGCEX to the Cáceres 2031 bid for European Capital of Culture adds the experience and knowledge of an entity closely linked to the cultural fabric of Extremadura and reinforces the shared work towards the construction of the 2031 cultural project.
