- Filmed in Cáceres, Trujillo and Los Barruecos, it has more than 500 views on YouTube in less than 48 hours
Cáceres 2031 and international violinist Yiyun Zhao (Abby Violín) have released a video inspired by the iconic melody of ‘Game of Thrones’, recorded in Cáceres, Trujillo and Los Barruecos, which has already exceeded 500 views in less than 48 hours since its premiere on YouTube. The piece is part of a cultural collaboration conceived and promoted by Cáceres 2031 to internationally project the historical heritage of Extremadura through music and audiovisual narrative.
The filming took place during the artist’s visit to Cáceres last March, when she participated as a guest at the Global Leaders Congress, organized by Cáceres 2031. Taking advantage of her stay, this audiovisual production was developed in some of the most representative enclaves of the region, also linked to the universe of ‘Game of Thrones’ and ‘The House of the Dragon’.
Abby Violín is one of the musical content creators with the greatest international projection in her field. The violinist, teacher and creative entrepreneur, born in China and living in Montreal (Canada), has a significant community of followers on social networks, especially on YouTube, where she has nearly 15,000 subscribers. Their productions, which combine classical music, heritage and a careful visual narrative, reach audiences in different countries and contribute to bringing culture to new audiences.
The initiative is part of Transcultura, the cultural vision of Cáceres 2031, which defends culture as a bridge between territories, people and traditions. With this project, the candidacy for European Capital of Culture 2031 once again relies on artistic collaborations of international scope to show Extremadura’s heritage from a contemporary perspective, reinforcing its cultural and tourist projection beyond our borders.
