Cáceres businesses have thrown themselves behind the city’s bid to become European Capital of Culture in 2031. Dozens of stores, bars, restaurants and other establishments in Extremadura are already displaying stickers in their shop windows in support of this project with the slogan “Culture is the way”. More than 150 have been distributed throughout the city.
Cáceres 2031 is grateful for the support of Cáceres establishments with “a city project that values our history, our creativity and the key role of local commerce, which is also culture and builds the city every day”. Therefore, placing these stickers in the window “means saying that trade believes in a more lively, open and future Cáceres”.
