- The Councilor for Culture, Jorge Suárez, highlights that it is a consolidated event that they will continue to support to bring dance closer to the people of Cáceres
The Cáceres City Council is collaborating with the DZM 2026 International Festival—which marks its 25th anniversary this year—on an extensive program running from Saturday, October 3, through Friday, October 30. The festival celebrates this milestone having evolved into a cultural network encompassing performances, creative work, reflection, and civic engagement.
The Councilor for Culture, Jorge Suárez, has highlighted that it is “a consolidated event in our city and proof of this is its 25 years of existence, throughout which it has been growing, which has allowed thousands of people from Cáceres to enjoy both amateur and professional dance.”
A festival, he added, “which is a cultural showcase that enriches the city’s offering, and adds to all the events that make up a broad and rich cultural agenda with which we aspire to achieve the European Capital of Culture title in 2031.”
“From the City Council we congratulate you on this anniversary, and we will continue collaborating so that the monumental city is a stage to enjoy dance, and that this festival continues for many years so that we can continue enjoying it. We encourage the people of Cáceres, and those who visit us, not to miss the magical moments that we are going to experience.”
