In total, these supporters already account for 50% of the population of Extremadura. A fact that Iris Jugo, general coordinator of the Cáceres 2031 Consortium, values: “Cáceres 2031 is a project that not only belongs to the city of Cáceres, but extends its network to all the municipalities in the region in a project that is a unique opportunity for the entire community”.

With this adhesion, Cáceres and Badajoz reaffirm their commitment to a joint cultural strategy that seeks to place Extremadura on the European map through innovative initiatives, institutional cooperation and the enhancement of the region’s historical and artistic heritage.
