Last night, the Cáceres exhibition centre hosted one of the best-attended concerts in recent years, featuring a performance by Fito & Fitipaldis, which drew a crowd of 18,000 people for a two-hour show that had the audience on their feet.
The Councillor for Festivals, Soledad Carrasco, has spoken very highly of how the event went, noting that “Cáceres has experienced a historic night, with a top-class concert that drew thousands of people and confirms that our city is ready to host major music events”.
Carrasco emphasised that “this success is the result of the local government’s clear commitment to organising major cultural and musical events that generate activity, dynamism and visibility for Cáceres, placing it on the national concert circuit”.
NO INCIDENTS AND EXEMPLARY BEHAVIOUR FROM THE PUBLIC
She also praised the smooth running of the security arrangements, noting that “according to data from the local police, no significant incidents have been reported, which demonstrates the effectiveness of the security operation and the exemplary behaviour of the public”.
In this regard, she also highlighted the success of the special bus service set up between the city centre and the exhibition grounds, which made travel easier and helped ensure the event ran smoothly.

The Councillor for Festivals has revealed that the City Council is continuing to work in this area, announcing that “in the coming days, new concerts featuring top national artists will be announced for the rest of the year, cementing Cáceres’s position as a leading destination for cultural and leisure events”.
