Caja Rural de Extremadura has joined the support of Cáceres 2031 to be elected European Capital of Culture. This has been ratified today with the signing of the manifesto of adhesion by the president of the entity, Urbano Caballo, in the presence of the mayor of Cáceres, Rafael Mateos.
The event was also attended by the general coordinator of the Consortium Cáceres European Capital of Culture 2031, Iris Jugo; the Councillor for Culture of Cáceres, Jorge Suárez; and the general manager of Caja Rural de Extremadura, Rocío Morales.
The Cáceres candidacy continues to gain support for the upcoming presentation of its project to the experts appointed by the European Commission, which will take place on March 9.
